An internal, read-only connection between QuickBooks Online and our own financial reporting. Private to Remote Technology Services and its affiliated companies — not offered to the public.
RTS Portfolio Finance reads Profit & Loss figures from the QuickBooks Online companies we operate, so that period reporting across the portfolio can be produced from one place instead of by hand.
It runs on a schedule on a single company-controlled computer. There is no website to log in to, no mobile app, and no public sign-up — this page exists because Intuit requires every connected application to publish one.
Authorization is performed once per QuickBooks company by an administrator of that company. QuickBooks Online scopes each authorization to a single company, so every company we operate is connected separately and can be disconnected separately.
Access can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks, with no notice to us and no need to contact anyone. See the disconnect instructions.
Use of this application is governed by our end user licence agreement, and our handling of QuickBooks data is described in the privacy policy.

Email is one of the primary forms of communication for today’s active businessperson, but there are certainly some challenges when you’re on the go. March 17th is one of our favorite days of the year – St. Patrick’s Day. For some, it’s a day to celebrate centuries of rich culture and Irish heritage, and for others, an opportunity to have a pint or two with friends. However you’ll be spending this St. Paddy’s, our team hopes you have […]

In 2018, Dropbox announced it was shifting away from cloud-based services in favor of managing some of its data storage and application hosting itself. The company noted that while Amazon Web Services (AWS) initially allowed Dropbox to delay the purchase and maintenance of its own infrastructure, there were limitations and obstacles that prompted the switch. […]

Daylight Saving Time for 2019 starts on Sunday, March 10th. I’m sure you know how Daylight Saving Time (DST) works, but did you know not everyone in the US observes this time change? Arizona hasn’t observed DST since 1967, and Hawaii has never used DST. Michigan skipped DST from 1969 – 1973, while Florida is […]

Managed IT Services is a transaction often required by businesses large and small in order to operate efficiently. It’s unfortunate that some owners and managers misinterpret the scale of services provided by a Managed IT Provider. To some extent, there is a contractual obligation toward the expected services, but there is also a simple limitation as to […]

Skeptics are likely shaking their heads at this, wondering, “Will that really improve productivity, or only give my employees an extra incentive to stream videos or play games? Aren’t more screens just a recipe for distraction?” Believe it or […]
